Cardio

I'm not going to lie, cardio isn't number one on my list right now.  I'm trying to put on weight so cardio's taken a back seat.  However, I am dying to get on my road bike once the snow clears up and it gets a little warmer. I got my bike last year and rode it to work during the summer, and had to garage it once it started getting cold again. It's a Cannondale CAAD9, aluminum frame with carbon fiber fork and post, and I love it! I've been meaning to get a trainer for it so I can ride it year round.  As soon as I can, I'll start posting more with my cycling training :P

Cannondale Caad9

I don't know if circuit training is considered strictly cardio per say, but sometimes I'll do the 300 workout that the guys from the movie did as a test.  Likewise, I only do it occasionally to test myself, but it's great.

Here's what the 300 workout looks like:
1. 25x Pull-ups
2. 50x Dead-lifts
3. 50x Push-ups
4. 50x Box Jumps
5. 50x Floor Wipers
6. 50x Clean and Presses
7. 25x Pull-ups
For a total of 300 reps.

I think the last time I did it, I managed to complete it in an embarrassing 30 minutes.  (lots of breaks were taken)!  The fastest time by the actors on 300 was the guy that played the Arcadian, and he finished it in 18 minutes.  Once I finish my bulking phase, I hope to do this workout more regularly and aim for 18 minutes too!
